Minutes – December 7, 2010

Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm. Thirty members present.

Gary announced that he has received an email from George Sinos letting the club know that he has had to make a return trip to the hospital for a stroke like condition. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers George and wish you a very speedy recovery. We need you!

Events coming up this weekend – Saturday, December 11th – Lake Zorinsky, 156th & F, 11 am. Roller Girls Polar Plunge – this is an event to raise funds that will go to the Special Olympics. Also on Saturday - Old Market, 10 am. to 4 pm. - Dickens in the Market. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and a good will be had by all.

Gary would like to have everyone begin sending images for the club 85th birthday book. This will give him ample time to begin organizing the images.

Don Cross announced that the DEADLINE FOR JANUARY, 2011 DIGITAL COMPETITION IMAGES IS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 17th. The assigned subject for January is “incredible eyes”.

Thanks to Dhruba and Don Loseke for sharing images – Dhruba’s were from the Oregon coast and Don’s from the southwest and a little bit of Nebraska too. An fun way for the rest of us to “travel” and see beautiful sights also.
